Has completed acquisitions and divestitures in excess of $100 million. Handled corporate bank relations, closing hundreds of millions of dollars in loans and leases. Experience in owning his own businesses, in family-owned businesses, and publicly-traded companies. As Chief Financial Officer in the corporate world, Vern oversaw finance, capital investments, and property development. Vern has been involved in real estate development since 1979, building new as well as remodeling older properties. This work included formation of general and limited partnership companies to complete the projects and distribute the profits.
