Small business statistics easier to find The U.S. Small Business Administration's Office of Advocacy has redesigned its Web site to make researching various statistical data available on small business and the economy. The site -- www.sba.gov/advo -- offers menus and search features that guide users to a wealth of data, reports and statistics. The Office of Advocacy is the "small-business watchdog" of the government and examines the role and status of small business in the economy and independently represents the views of small business to federal agencies, Congress and the president. It is a source for small-business statistics and funds research on small-business issues.
