| IRS Information on Figure Alternative Taxes - 01/24/2006
The IRS has a "fun" item on its website. It has placed an "AMT ASSISTANT" on the site. This allows individuals to estimate their personal Alternative Minimum Tax liability. Go to http://apps.irs.gov/app/amt. Unfortunately, the best for which we can hope is Congress renews (and expands) the temporary threshold relief that expired at the end of 2005.
